HDF/MDF HOMADUR® Door Skin Raw
Our HDF/MDF HOMADUR® Door Skins easily satisfy the special technical and physical requirements of the door industry. Both sides are smooth or sanded and provide the perfect surface for finishing treatments. HDF HOMADUR® Primed Door Skins are ideally suited to final lacquering with various types of lacquer. We produce door skins with specially optimised qualities to meet the stringent requirements for milling and lacquering. Our “Flame Retardant B1” door skins are manufactured for applications where special safety requirements apply. Our door skins are also available as a finished product that only needs to be pressed onto he core and frame: these door skins are available as a “Laminated” model, with a large selection of bonded wood grain decors to choose from, such as finish foil, PP foil or CPL, or as the HDF HOMADUR® Door Skin Plus model that includes a finishing coat of high-quality lacquer.

Processing
HDF HOMADUR® Door Skins can be given a variety of different finishes using suitable techniques. These include veneers, laminates or lacquers, for example. Exception: HDF HOMADUR® Door Skin Plus and HDF HOMADUR® Door Skin Laminated – these are already laminated or finally lacquered. Further processing can be carried out using standard woodworking machinery and tools. You must carry out your own trials and tests in advance.
